If you have suspicions that your WhatsApp is being monitored or that someone is eavesdropping on you, those suspicions may be valid.
Someone might hack into your WhatsApp account for a variety of reasons. It can be for parental control or because your partner thinks you’re cheating. Others also engage in it “for pleasure.”
The motivation for spying on your WhatsApp may be that your friends and relatives want to know who you chat with the most and what you talk about.
Being one the most used apps in the world, WhatsApp tries to mitigate the risk of intruders hacking into your account by deploying the “End-to-End Encryption”, however, this does not guarantee your total safe because practically every technology has certain flaws.
Because of the strict security measures WhatsApp has put in place, an attacker would need to access your smartphone at least once in order to “hack” into your account.
To know if someone is tracking or monitoring your WhatsApp;
Android Users:

1. Open WhatsApp and tap on the “three-dots”


2. Open WhatsApp and tap on the “three-dots”


3. Now, if one or several other devices appear to which you have not given access, then your WhatsApp is compromised and is being monitored by someone else.


4. But if you see no device, you’re safe.


5. Finally, to protect your WhatsApp account from the intruder, tap on each session and then press “Log Out.”


iPhone/iOS Users
1. Open WhatsApp and tap on “Settings”


2. Tap on “Linked Devices“


3. Now, if one or several other devices appear to which you have not given access, then your WhatsApp is compromised and is being monitored by someone else.


4. But if you see no device, you’re safe.


5. Finally, to protect your WhatsApp account from the intruder, tap on each session and then press “Log Out.” You need to tap on Log Out again on the popup.
